Baking with Grandma

Read the story, then answer the questions.

A week before Christmas, Jack and Ava went to Grandma’s house. Grandma always bakes gingerbread at Christmas, and this year the children were going to help.

Together they mixed the dough with honey and spices. Then they rolled it out and cut out stars, hearts and trees. The whole kitchen smelled of cinnamon.
