A Trip to the Woods
Read the story, then answer the questions.
On Tuesday, Class 2 went on a trip to the woods. Mrs Green said that in the woods we must be quiet, so we do not scare the animals.
The children walked along a path and collected leaves from oak, maple and birch trees. Suddenly, Noah spotted a hedgehog under a fern. The hedgehog rolled into a ball, and nobody touched it.
In a clearing, the children ate sandwiches and drank water. Before they left, they picked up all their litter. They went back to school tired but very happy.
