Learning paths and worksheet books: a plan for every day

Single worksheets are great for a quick practice session. But when you want steady progress, it helps to have a plan. Sowa has two ready-made ones: learning paths and worksheet books. Both are free.
Learning paths: one sheet a day
A learning path is a series of worksheets in a set order, from Pre-K to 7th grade. Each step builds on the one before it, so your child moves from the basics to harder problems without big jumps.
- Pick a path. Filter by subject and grade and choose a topic that fits your child or class.
- One sheet a day. Open the next step and print it. Dynamic steps are new every time, so a step can be repeated without copying the last attempt.
- Build the skill. Ten minutes a day works better than one long session a week.
If you have a parent account with child profiles, progress through a path is saved for each child separately, so siblings can follow the same path at their own pace.
Worksheet books: a booklet in one print
Worksheet books bundle handwriting, letters, numbers and math practice into one booklet. Instead of printing ten sheets one by one, you print the whole set at once. That's handy for a holiday week, a long car trip or a week of homework for a class.
Which one to choose?
- Choose a learning path for a daily habit and a clear next step.
- Choose a book when you want everything printed and stapled in advance.
- Choose single worksheets to practise one specific thing, such as a test topic.
Tips for a daily routine
- Pick the same time every day, for example right after a snack.
- Stop while it's still fun. A short session that ends well is better than a long one that ends in tears.
- Praise the effort, not only the right answers.
